LECM is a religious group at Temple University. Students meet weekly for fellowship discussion about Christian faith and spirituality. It's a laid back discussion which attracts students from a variety of religious backgrounds. You don't have to be Lutheran or Episcopal to come - just bring an open mind and a willingness to think about Christian faith. Did we mention, free pizza is included?
The ministry is student driven. Many students have become close friends through the ministry. Over the course of the semester we do a variety of social events and events on campus. We also take road trips - going on retreats and to local and national conferences designed just for college students.
Wednesday Worship Student Center Room 223. Prayer and medication from 12-1 pm and Eucharist from 1-1:45 pm.
Thursday Bible Study and Dinner Student Center Room 205. 7-9 pm.
