Spending Time with God - A Lenten Series on Prayer
During Lent on Thursday, the Church of the Advocate will offer the opportunity to learn about and experience some of the most ancient practices of Christian prayer. Come find out which approach to spending time with God works best for you.
March 17 -Praying with the Word: Lectio Divina
March 24 - Moving into Prayer: The Labyrinth
March 31 - Gazing at God: Praying with Icons and Images
April 7 - Holding Prayer in Your Hands: Anglican Prayer Beads
All sessions begin at 11:30 am
They will last about an hour. Participants are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch or join with the meal in the soup kitchen.
